Crest: That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserves: On a wreath of the colors Argent and Azure, the Lexington Minute Man Proper. The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the Common in Lexington, Massachusetts.

The unit is allocated to Rhode Island and Connecticut. The colonial State seals of the first bear the anchor and of the second bear the grape vine.
Crest
The crest is that of the United States Army Reserve.
The coat of arms was originally approved for the 301st Medical Regiment on 14 May 1925. It was redesignated for the 301st Medical Battalion on 4 July 1942. The insignia was rescinded on 19 October 1959.
